Friday Favorites

I find all kinds of inspiration throughout my week, and sometimes I just want to share them with you! This list is mostly about things I’ve found from other bloggers or businesses in my field that I thought, “hey if I like it, maybe my readers will too!” I will continue to feature these things maybe weekly or monthly (or as the mood strikes)  in hopes that you may be inspired by them too!

First up! Sprinkles and Sea Salt posted a super easy recipe for homemade apple butter that looks delicious and could be a great teacher or friend gift in the upcoming holiday season. I thought it looked so good that I went and bought all the ingredients that day!

Affordable clothing options! We have some really great consignment shops around here; my two favorites locally are Lads N Lassies and Once Upon a Child! Crazy 8 and Old Navy for new clothing and if you know me personally, you know Old Navy is where the majority of my own wardrobe comes from! I’m thankful to be able to pass along some of the clothes from my oldest and my two younger girls LOVE wearing big sister’s old clothes. But now the oldest is starting to form her own opinion on her clothing and I just really like a good deal on anything!

Farm Fresh Fast! This is a local, farm to table restaurant in downtown Greenville, SC. I went for lunch last week with my husband and was blown away by the food! I will have a whole post coming soon interviewing the owner and chef!

Made In Cookware! Y’all I’ve been on the search for high quality cookware for y’all that doesn’t break the bank. I do believe good cooking starts with good tools but if you can’t afford them, then what’s the point, right? That’s exactly what this company has set out to fix! They’ve developed the best quality and by cutting out the middleman, they are able to cut the cost of the products! They’ve just recently partnered with Chef Tom Colicchio (head judge from Top Chef) and he will be featuring their cookware in his new restaurant! Things I cannot wait to try from them, this stainless pan and the brand new chef knife!!!! For more of my favorite kitchen tools check out my Favorite Tools page.

How cute are these tags!! If you haven't seen Homegrown Traditions you need to go check it out! Brittney and Justin create the cutest things for the family. You can find all kinds of high quality products to bring family traditions to life and it all started with holiday pillowcases!

Time to create! I was able to spend a little time with week painting and worshiping. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it and I'm very pleased with the results. I came across something similar while working on the design for my oldest daughter's bedroom and decided to try it out! The time spent creating something of my own while the Lord shared His love to me was priceless. If you have a chance to create and worship this week, take it! The rest of my day was really stressful (that's a whole other story!) and I was thankful I had taken that time.

That’s it for now. What are you loving this week? Comment below so I can go check them out too!!!

  1. What a great list of inspiration! I am saving this post to read later when I can explore the links a little more. Thanks for sharing :)
