Three Easy Crock Pot Appetizers

Let me introduce you to my slow cooker collection. (you can never have too many right?) Today I am sharing my favorite slow cooker appetizers and these are by far the EASIEST appetizers in the whole series. I know I've left out so many great apps but these are just a few of my favorites. Be sure to check the other two posts here and here for the whole list!

Appetizers Best Served Warm

Buffalo Chicken Dip

There are so many great variations out there for this dip! I got this from a friend of mine and have adapted it to my own tastes. This one is great for football, holiday parties that may be heavy apps and anytime you have a craving for something spicy (this was a regular during my pregnancies.)

Ingredients:

2 12oz cans of chicken (or use 1-2 chicken breasts cooked)
1 ½ blocks of cream cheese
½-1 C hot sauce (I like Franks)
12oz shredded cheddar cheese
6oz blue cheese or Gorgonzola crumbles *optional but sooooo good!

Directions:

Add all ingredients to crock pot until melted then stir!
Serve with tortilla chips

Artichoke Dip

I didn’t really know I liked artichokes until had this dip! We love it with wheat thins but could be served with tortilla chips, butter crackers or nut thins also.

Ingredients:

1 can artichoke hearts (I like getting the smaller hearts)
1/2 C mayo
1/4 C shredded Parmesan
1-2 tsp lemon juice

This would also be really tasty with crushed crackers on top (think Ritz or club crackers) And I JUST thought of this but you could slice up some hearts of palm and mix that in for more texture!

Directions:

1. Cut up hearts into bite-sized pieces
2. Mix all ingredients together
3. Heat until warm! (you can add the crushed crackers to the top before serving for some crunch)

I told y’all I like easy!!

BBQ Meatballs

THIS! This is the easiest of them all and I just keep the ingredients on hand for any last minute need! Also a great one for football season!

Ingredients:

1. Frozen meatballs (whatever you like, these go on sale buy 1, get 1 free All The Time)
2. BBQ sauce (again, whatever you like, Sweet Baby Ray’s makes a great variety!)

Directions:

Throw all in the crock pot, stir occasionally. Should be defrosted within an hour or so.

What are your favorite appetizers? Be sure to check the other two posts for some other favorites! I show you how to create a beautiful cheese board here. And my favorite bacon wrapped jalapenos are in this one!
